Description: Hallsted Campground features 20 well-kept campsites covered by large pine trees. There is a short trail that leads to the Feather River where you can enjoy fishing and swimming. Firewood is available for a fee. 
Another short trail leads to the Twain Store where grocery and convenience can be purchased and coin operated showers are available. There is also a dumpstation at the Twain Store which is available for a fee.
This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques.

 Gansner Bar Campground  Location: From Quincy, CA, take State Rt. 70 west 26.8 miles to Caribou Rd. Turn right onto Caribou Rd. and go 0.5 miles to campground on left.

 Elevation: 2,400 ft
 Reservations: None, sites available on first come, first serve basis.

 Description: Gansner Bar Campground is located on a grass "bar" on the North Fork of Feather River. This area, near where North Fork and East Branch of North Fork River converge, is called the Feather River Canyon. These grassy campgrounds are well shaded by oak, cedar and pine trees. Sites are located along the river, however a large hedge of wild berry bushes  The sound of the riverprovides a separation between many of the sites and the edge of the river. Firewood is available for a small fee.
General store and cafe located 1/2 mile away on corner or Caribou and Hwy 70 for fishing supplies, grocery and convenience items and delicious prepared meals.

 Location:

From Quincy, CA, take State Rt. 70 west 26.8 miles to Caribou Rd. Turn right onto Caribou Rd. and go 2.25 miles to campground on left.

19. Family sites. Each site has a table and bbq pit or pedestal. Tent or RV.

None, sites available on first come, first serve basis.
